POSITIVE VIBES ALWAYS…

To be positive sometimes is very hard to do! However, it really can help you long term to deal with unnecessary stresses that everyone has to deal with in some way or other. Looking at the stressor in a positive way will enable you to not waste time and energy trying to solve something that is out of your hands anyway.

A new year is a good place to start with new changes, challenges and experiences. So trying to adapt a positive outlook can be tough but can also be rewarding.

Returning to run fitness classes has been mostly positive. The people who attend my classes are absolutely fantastic, lovely human beings. I am very grateful to them for their support.

Unfortunately on the flip side, it has also been met with some very horrible negative vibes from fellow fitness instructors. I have been really shocked at the pure hate towards me - when in reality there is enough room for everyone to run their classes. It really is a shame that they feel so insecure they have resorted to making up things that are completely untrue about me.

Also this one instructor who runs fitness classes in the local area gave me prank phone calls in the early hours of the morning and sent me a WhatsApp message the day after my brother died saying in the message; “that they’d leave me alone for now”.

Women should empower one another not bring one another down! I heard this quote from a fellow fitness friend the other day - “Successful people never worry about what others are doing” That is so true, when you’re actively working towards your own goals, other people’s business is no concern of your own. You’re too busy to worry about them.

So whether you’re really having a tough time at the moment or you’re about to embark on something new in your life whether that be fitness related or something else, remember to realise your self worth, your importance, your achievements, your goals, keep smashing them! You really can do anything.
